Ibni Rocks and Bellever - Sun 12th May

Service Description

An afternoon concert at St John's Church, Totnes featuring Ibni Rocks and Bellever raising funds to support We Need Music's community music work. Ibni will be releasing his debut album 'Infinity', copies of which will be available at this event. Ibni Rocks is nine years old. He started drumming when he was three. His first concert was with the Master Drummers of Ghana in Somerset, UK when he was seven. He performed as a circus drummer for the Miraculous Circus in 2023. He has opened for The Gulls, Robin Hood Tour in Bristol 2023. Later that year he made it through the Producers Audition of Britain's Got Talent. He has played with Mobius Loop, Alex Akal and The Wolves, Northern Poet, Amy Naylor, and Kabecao. He teaches handpan and performs all around UK and Europe. Bellever are a Devon based musical duo with Laura and Lyndon Forster, founders of We Need Music. Laura runs Lullabubbas early years music project and Lyndon runs PanKind handpan workshops alongside both running other community music making projects. The venue is on the ground floor with level access from the left side of the building (when looking at the church from the front) and an accessible toilet. Baby changing facilities are also available. Children are very welcome at this concert.
